| The good news is that treats don't have to be starch-based. They can be made with protein and a very small amount of grain and best of all you can add whatever vitamins or supplements you like. The bad news is that if you want anything done right, you may have to do it yourself. OMA'sPride offers an outstanding treat beef roll that we use for training because it has everything good under the sun and, yes, the dogs LOVE it too. They also offer Carnivore Cookies and a yummy Salmon Treat Stick. In all cases, the prepared treats are simply an easy way to treat and nourish at the same time, without the bother of baking your own But for those who don't mind baking here are some ideas and recipes that OMA's offers up: |
